Thanks for all your support, we hope you enjoyed the Gala and your swimmers achieved the times they wanted.

Thanks to all volunteers for helping to make the Gala run smoothly, particularly guests Jonny Owen, Frank Stevens and also to Keith Scott for ensuring all was well with the timing equipment. Also thanks to staff at Grove for being patient and understanding when a gala overran (only slightly this time!).

Thanks also to our Sponsors, both major and minor for helping us stage this Gala. We'd like to particularly thank Belfast City Council for providing the support to once again make the Gala happen.

This year, our Northern Bank sponsored "Celebrate Belfast" trophy passed over from Lisburn to Bangor - congratulations to the Bangor team for being worthy winners! For the record, Bangor scored 356 points, Larne 286 and Lisburn 152 - an afternoon session surge of points from Bangor sealed their victory.

Congratulations to all our winners, some of the Skins finals produced some very exciting swimming, too close for the human eye to make the call in some cases. It was nice to see some sporting handshakes after the races amongst the swimmers.

One or two medals did not get presented at the Gala. Let us know who is missing what and we'll get that medal to the swimmers - we'll be at most Galas throughout the season, including the War Memorial on 10th November.

 Please note that, for child protection reasons, we're not keeping any of the pictures we took on the day - thanks to those that purchased pictures, bought raffle tickets and took the opportunity to buy from the Vi Sport stall.

Going forward, we hope to have a third Celebrate Belfast Gala next year (not sure where yet!), any feedback on this year's event is most welcome - please email our Gala Committee
