November Swimmer of the Month
15/12/2009
This month saw two events open to the Academy and Junior Squads with the Halloween time trial at the beginning of the month and the Bangor Age Group meet at the end. Both meets saw a huge number of pb’s and all swimmers have shown a massive improvement in both their performances and technical ability. As always, the award of swimmer of the month is based on three criteria: • Attitude • Attendance • Achievement All swimmers that have competed in the meets have shown huge improvements and as always, the attitude of our swimmers in training and competition remains at the highest level. Attendance can always be improved upon, as no-one made 100% attendance in November. One swimmer has stood out this month, missing only one session and achieving a pb in every competitive swim she has entered. Most of all, her attitude in training is fantastic; she is attentive, hard working, listens well and applies herself in every single session and set she does. She also trains beyond her comfort zone when required and show real understanding of training sets and following programme of work. The November swimmer of the month is
ERIN BLUNDELL!!
