News Long Course Nationals 30/4/2010 From Thursday 29th April to Sunday 2nd May, our senior swimmers will be competing in the 50m pool at the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin. A full list of results is available on the Swim Ireland website, updated at the end of each race. Alison Todd, Emily Heyburn, Seana Harley Moyes and Morgan Berryman are competing for the Club. The competition has been made more interesting by the addition of teams from the USA, Loughborough University, Stirling University, Swansea University and other European swimmers. For anyone interested, admission is free and the finals in the evenings starting at 5pm are incredible. On Friday evening, Alison Todd secured a bronze medal in the 400m IM. Emily Heyburn made the Semi Finals of the 50m and 100m fly and Alison just missed out on the final of the 100m breaststroke. Seana pbed in the 100m freestyle and swam well in her 800m freestyle as well. Morgan finished at the head of the 12 & Under boys categories in the 200m freestyle and 200m butterfly and finished third in the 100m freestyle. Across the weekend, Alison and Emily made the semi finals of the 100m fly, and Alison went on to compete in the B final of the 200IM. Emily made it through to the semis of the 100m free and 50m fly. Seana and Morgan had some great swims across the weekend in a very high standard gala. Well done to all of you.
