News CoB at the NAC Gala 17/6/2010 CoB sent down a good sized squad to the NAC gala in Dublin on the 13th June and as usual our swimmers performed enthusiastically and attained some new personal bests. Hannah Beattie recorded a 9 second pb in the first event of the day setting a great example for everyone. The 200m free for girls recorded the best improvements of the day with Ellen O Neill, Christina McDowell, Daria Colgan and Sofie Hunter recorded pb's of 16, 21, 10 and 14 seconds. The Under 10 Girls Freestyle Relay team of Hannah Beattie, Sofie Hunter, Erin Blundell, Christina McDowell picked up gold whilst the Girls 11-12 Freestyle Relay team of Ellen O'Neill, Daria Colgan, Sacha Colgan and Sarah McCracken picked up silver. Morgan Berryman came first in the 100m 11-12 year old butterfly and Christina McDowell won gold in the 100m 10 & under breaststroke. Hannah Beattie clocked up an 11 second pb in the 10 & under 100m freestyle and Alison Todd picked up silvers in the 100m freestyle and 100m breaststroke and a gold in the 200m breaststroke.
